• A RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE will take place Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. in the St. Joseph Catholic Church Multipurpose Building.

• A KATY BRIDGE WINE WALK will take place Saturday, 5 to 8 p.m., in downtown Boonville. Proceeds will go toward restoration of the Katy Bridge.

• 4-H/FFA HORSE SHOW will take place Sunday, 11 a.m., at the Howard County Fairgrounds.

• COYOTE HILL CHRISTIAN CHILDREN’S HOME will host an open house Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m. Visitors may enjoy a free lunch, games, bounce house, hayrides, tours of the property and horse show put on by children.

• CMU’s ASHBY-HODGE GALLERY of American Art is featuring a wide range of works by many artists dating from the late 19th century to the present. Titled “4X20,” the display features four works each by 20 artists. The gallery, located on the basement level of the Smiley Library, is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.

• CMU’s STEPHENS MUSEUM is open to the public this semester on Tuesdays from 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m., and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m.  Special tours at other times may be arranged by calling museum curator Dan Elliott at 248-6370.
