Howard County Assessor Woody McCutcheon announces the new plat book for the county has been completed and is available for purchase in his office. This spiral-bound book features the standard landownership map pages showing townships and ranges within Howard County, including property boundaries for all rural parcels.
New in this edition are enhanced LiDAR aerial view maps that show a 3D-like topographical view of the local land, along with an updated Howard County government directory, fire districts map, school districts map, and political township with commissioner's districts map. This information is often valuable to those who own land in Howard County, as well as prospective or adjoining property owners, hunters, foresters, timber and petroleum industry personnel, and emergency services.
The 2025 Howard County MO Plat Book is available for purchase for $40 at the assessor's office on the second floor of the courthouse. Those interested can also register for a chance to win a free premium wall map or a SmartMap.
For more information, contact the assessor’s office at (660) 248-3400.
Wall maps, a smart phone friendly SmartMap, and an eBook version are all also available for purchase by visiting www.mappingsolutionsgis.com.
