Fayette Advertiser Editor/Publisher Justin Addison was named the Business Person of the Year by the Fayette Rotary Club at the organization’s meeting on June 11.
Addison purchased the Advertiser from Pat Roll in the summer of 2018. Before owning the newspaper, he served as Sports Editor from 2002 until 2009.
The Rotary Business and Professional of the Year Award was established in 1984 to honor individuals whose work reflects integrity, service, commitment to others.
Addison is only the third Fayette native to publish the Advertiser, the last being Denny Davis. He lives in Fayette with his wife, Dr. Sonya Addison, and two sons, Jake and Alex.
