Northwest Ward Alderman Jeremy Dawson has thrown his hat in for Mayor of Fayette. The election will take place on April 5.
Dawson ran unopposed for the Northwest Ward seat in the April 2021 election. Prior to that he became East Ward Alderman after winning four of seven write-in votes in the June 2020 election. (That election was delayed from April due to the covid-19 pandemic). He later resigned that seat when he moved from the East Ward.
Dawson so far has not responded to multiple attempts made by this newspaper for comment.
