With the holiday season in full swing, many local parishioners are wondering where they can attend Christmas worship services this season.
The following is a list of churches that have announced Christmas plans. The Advertiser reached out to churches in the area but was not able to get in touch with everyone by press time.
Armstrong First Baptist Church
The church will hold an informal service Sunday December 26 at 10:30 a.m.
First Baptist Church of New Franklin
The annual Birthday Party for Jesus will be held during morning worship at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 26, following a get-together breakfast at 9:30 a.m. During this special time, church members present their gifts. There will be songs, readings, testimonies, etc.
First Christian Church
There will be a candlelight Christmas Eve service, including communion, at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24. Masks are encouraged.
St. Joseph Catholic Church
There will be a Christmas Eve Mass at 9 p.m., and a Christmas Mass 8 a.m.
St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Glasgow
There will be a Christmas Eve Mass at 7 p.m., and Christmas Mass at 10 a.m.
St. Mary’s Episcopal
There will be a Christmas Eve Eucharist service at noon on Dec. 24. No service Christmas Day or Sunday Dec. 26.
Linn Memorial & St. Paul UMC
There will be a joint candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24 at Linn Memorial.
New Franklin United Methodist Church
The church will hold a Christmas Eve service at 6 p.m. at Clark’s Chapel.
There will be a 9:30 a.m. service Dec. 26 at the Methodist Church in New Franklin.
Faith Family Church
There will be a Christmas Eve service at 7 p.m. on Dec. 24.
Sharon Bible Church, Armstrong
There will be a Sunday Dec. 26 youth program at 10 a.m.
Smith Chapel Church
No additional services
Grace Fellowship
There will be a 7 p.m. candlelight communion Christmas Eve service. All are invited.
Moniteau Chapel
The church will celebrate the birth of Jesus with a candlelight service tonight, Dec. 22, at 7 p.m. Brother Scott Davis will lead the service. All are welcome.
