Bennie Louis "Maw'Maw" Broadus went to be with the Lord November 14, 2020, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City, MO.
Bennie was born July 20, 1946 to Elizabeth A. Broadus and Awood Moore Jr. in Fayette, MO. She attended Lincoln School and later graduated from Fayette High School in 1964. She began working at University of Missouri Hospital. Bennie then continued her career at Keller Memorial Hospital on the labor and delivery floor and the National Garment Company. She was a member of the St. Paul Methodist Church for most of her adult life.
Bennie loved sewing and crocheting blankets and making candy at Christmas time. She enjoyed listening to the Oldies, but Goodies every Sunday evening, but most of all, she loved visiting with her friends and family.
Bennie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Mari Warren (Ranard) of Columbia; three grandchildren Raynese Deason (Ryan), RaLawrence Warren (Kristen), and Rayshaun Warren all of Columbia; three great grandchildren Alana Deason, Ryan Deason Jr., and Tyler Warren all of Columbia; six brothers Charles Broadus of Fayette, Danny Broadus (Pat) of Sugar Hill, GA, James Broadus (Winona) of Columbia, Keith Broadus (Brenda) of Columbia, Charles Moore (Dorothy) of Kansas City, Johnny Moore (Pat) of Kansas City; and two sisters, Mari Hinkle of Stockton, CA, and Gail McCoy of Kansas City; and her special aunt, Helen Mae Jackman; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Carl L. Broadus; her parents, two brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Parker-Millard Funeral Service. The funeral service will be private for family but can be viewed via Facebook at 1:00 p.m. through the following link https://www.facebook.com/ParkerMillard.
