Brent Lee Gaddis, 66, of New Franklin, passed away July 22, 2022, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.
Brent was born on February 23, 1956, in Phoenix, Arizona, a son of Gilbert Lester and Grace Janet (Estes) Gaddis. He had been employed with Cooper Trucking in Boonville, Missouri, and Quinn Concrete in Marshall, Missouri. He loved working on “anything with wheels” and working on and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles. Brent was a member of a motorcycle club. Most of all, he enjoyed his family, especially his granddaughter, and had been his mother’s caregiver for several years.
Survivors include his mother, Grace Janet Gaddis of New Franklin; two sons, Brandon and William Gaddis, both of Boonville; a daughter, Erica Hindley of Virginia; a sister, Brenda Carter of Columbia; and two grandchildren, Cecelia Gaddis and Noah Hindley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Gaddis, and a brother, William Gaddis.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
