Fayette’s newest financial institution, BTC Bank, which on Monday finalized its purchase of Merchants & Farmers Bank, made a $5,000 donation to the Fayette High School band and the music boosters.
BTC Bank, headquartered in Bethany, Missouri, operates a brand and overall company culture fueled by community giveback - specifically educational and ag-related initiatives. So, the Bank wasted no time tracking down a cause that would benefit the community’s renowned young musicians.
The Fayette High School Band was recently selected to play at the 85th MMEA In-Service Workshop and Conference on Friday, January 27. This high school band was one of seven chosen to participate in this upcoming year’s prestigious event. The FHS Band and Fayette Music Boosters have been working diligently to raise funds to replace older band equipment and assist with costs related to the upcoming MMEA performance.
To show its support for this impressive endeavor, BTC Bank was able to provide the donation to the Fayette High School Band and Music Boosters.
