Thanksgiving is Thursday, which means businesses, schools, and offices will adjust hours in observance of the holiday.
Fayette, Glasgow, and New Franklin public schools, and St. Mary’s School in Glasgow, will not hold classes on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Central Methodist University is out all week.
Municipal and county government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
The Fayette Senior Center will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Area banks and U.S. Post Offices will be closed on Thanksgiving. Regular hours resume on Friday.

TJ’s Diner will be closed on Thursday, but will be open on Friday from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m., and for dinner starting at 5 p.m.
