The Fayette Advertiser will host a candidate forum Oct. 12 for local contested races that will appear on the Nov. 3 ballot. So far, nearly all candidates for Sheriff, Coroner, County Commissioner, and Missouri House District 48 have committed to attend the event.
The forum will be held at 6 p.m. the St. Joseph Catholic Church Hall in Fayette. Those attending are asked to wear masks.
The format of the event will be a forum, rather than a debate. Questions will be posed to candidates, who will have time limits in which to answer.
