The Central Methodist softball team garnered 14 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes for the 2021-22 academic year, which was announced by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association last week.
In addition to the 14 scholar-athletes, Central finished this past year with a team GPA of 3.367, good enough to land at No. 32 nationally for team GPAs in all of the NAIA.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association’s membership categories. Team GPAs and scholar-athletes are submitted by member head coaches.
