After winning the season opener 1-0, the No. 20 Central Methodist baseball team dropped the next three games in a pair of double headers at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio on Friday and Saturday.
Z Westley homered in the fourth inning and Kenny Otero allowed just four hits and two walks in Central Methodist’s victory. He also struck out 10. Julio Canales was 2-3 at the plate.
Mason Schwellenbach was 1-3 with an RBI in CMU’s 3-1 loss on Friday afternoon.
Adrian Martinez went 2-3 with an RBI in a 6-1 loss in the first game on Saturday and was 1-3 with two RBI in the second game, a 5-3 loss.
Sergio Macias was 2-3 with two runs in the final game of the series.
