The Central Methodist University Chorale invites the Fayette community to worship at Linn Memorial United Methodist Church on Sunday morning as they present “An Evening in December.”
Under the direction of Thomas Clark and accompanied by Janet O’Niell, the chorale will perform seasonal pieces that help the congregation prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Central Methodist University President Roger Drake will share special music on the piano, and Rev. Bill O’Neal will deliver the brief sermon, “The Kintsugi Bowl,” conveying a message of hope.
This special worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, November 17.
Once on the road, the Chorale will perform at United Methodist churches in Pleasant Hill, Independence, and Blue Springs, Mo., as well as at high schools in Oak Grove, Marshall, Lone Jack, Pleasant Hill, Harrisonville, and Belton. The tour will conclude with a concert at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit.
