For the first time under the direction of Dr. Patrick Dill, the Central Methodist University Chorale singers will soon set off for a tour of Missouri churches and high schools. The Chorale will set out on Thursday, November 18 and travel to various towns to perform through Monday, November 22.

On the program for the tour are three sections: Lamentations and Exultations, Guiding Hope, and Illumination and Transformation, each including a number of songs.

Dill, who took over the storied Chorale program after the retirement of Claude Westfall, will lead the following students on tour:

Soprano – Megan Adams (Fulton/music education), Madolyn Bartholomew (Salisbury/music education), Addalyn Gabriel (Agency/music education), Gracie Hartford (Fayetteville, Ark./interdisciplinary studies), Lilly Powel (Sikeston/music education), Hailey Sage (Fayette/vocal performance), and Amanda Schrivener.

Alto – KeKona Asi (Waynesville/music), Emily Gann (Lake Saint Louis/music education), Anna Geurkink (Perryville/vocal music education), Joni Lehman (Jefferson City/elementary education), Anna Pendergrass (Sullivan/vocal music education), Morgan Puffer (St. Clair/vocal music education), Kylie VanGundy (Wentzville/pre-med psychology), and Kennedy Walker (Boonville/religion and church leadership).

Tenor – Grady Baker (Boonville/music education), P. Rob Brown (St. Peters/vocal performance), Ezechiel Daos (Dixon/vocal music education), Dalton Myler (Lebanon/vocal performance), Cole Nowlin (Hallsville/theatre education), Connor Rich (St. Joseph/vocal music education), and Nathan Wren (Ballwin/vocal music education).

Bass – Andrew Adams (New Franklin/instrumental music education), Isaac Bartholomew (Fayette/business), Mitchell Crofton (Springfield, Ill./music ministry), Tres Hampton (Dexter/political science), Ben Pilger (Festus/interdisciplinary studies), Brandon Swanson (Marceline/music education), and Colby Vincent (Macon/business).

The Chorale will perform at Marshall, Boonville, Lebanon, Bolivar, Willard, Stockton, Rolla, Owensville, Hermann, Fulton, Cairo, and Hallsville, for students and school staff only. Church performances on the following days will be open to the public:

• Thursday, Nov. 18, 7 p.m. – First United Methodist Church (Lebanon)

• Saturday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m. – Stockton United Methodist Church (Stockton)

• Sunday, Nov. 21, 10:45 a.m. – Open Hearts United Methodist Church (Bolivar)
7:00 p.m. – First United Methodist Church (Rolla)

• Monday, November 22,
7 p.m. – Court Street United Methodist Church (Fulton).
