The Central Methodist men's basketball program received votes in the fourth edition of the NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches Top 25 poll, announced by the national office Wednesday.
The only other Heart school mentioned or featured in the Top 25 poll is No. 2 William Penn. Central currently owns a 14-5 overall record including a 5-3 mark in conference play and a 6-2 record inside Puckett Field House.
As a team, Central leads the Heart in rebounding margin (11.5) and is second in rebounds per game (42.9). They also sit atop the conference in scoring defense (65.7 points per game). There are currently four Eagles that average double figures, led by sophomore guard Jonathan Brown with 18.2 points per game. Senior Tim Cameron averages 13.2 points per game while freshman Marcus Anthony averages 12.5 and senior Fode Camara averages 10.5.
