The Central Methodist women’s wrestling team concluded the 2021-22 season at the NAIA Women’s Wrestling National Invitational Friday in Jamestown, North Dakota.
The invitational featured more than 30 schools from around the country. Freshman Allison Hynes just missed out on placement matches at 123 pounds, finishing the tournament with a 3-2 overall record. Sophomore Autumn Barela picked up two wins in the 136-pound weight class as did junior Andrea Montoya at 143 pounds.
Junior Giovanna Loza (116), and freshman Brianne Whited (143) also earned victories in their respective weight classes.
