The Fayette Area Common Fund rang in the new year with a joyous celebration on January 9, when several agencies in the Fayette community that received grant checks.
The Fayette Area Common Fund raised $32,750. These funds were distributed to the following agencies: Fayette Senior Citizen Center, Fayette Ministerial Alliance Buddy Pack Program, First Christian Church Holiday House, P.A.W.S. (Pet Adoption & Welfare Service), First Baptist Church School Supply Giveaway, AWE, Fayette Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry, and Fayette public school Kindergarten program.
The Fayette Area Common Fund is a nonprofit fund dedicated to providing financial resources to local organizations that benefit the community.
For 48 years, the Common Fund has supported local groups including the Fayette Senior Citizens Center, Parents as Teachers, the Fayette Ministerial Alliance Buddy Pack and Benevolence Fund, P.A.W.S, and the Christmas Holiday House.
