The Missouri Democrat Party has made changes to the proccess of selecting delegates for the upcoming Presidential Election. The Howard County Caucus or Mass Meeting scheduled for April 6, has been cancelled, along with those in all other counties, due to the current COVID-19 concerns. Instead, each Congressional District has rescheduled its Convention for Saturday, May 30, and county residents should attend these Congressional Conventions to take part and vie for delegate positions. Further information will be forthcoming about locations and times.
Someone interested in being a delegate must be a resident and registered voter of Howard County, be at least 18 years of age, must declare to be a Democrat, not a member of any other political party, must have voted in the March 10 Presidential Preference Primary.
Questions should be directed to the website, www.missouridemocrats.org/2020.
