Crystal June Nichols, 62, of Sturgeon, Missouri, passed away on February 18, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
Crystal was born in Kanawha County, West Virginia, on September 1, 1962, a daughter of Robert Shields, Sr. and Carol Parsons Shields. She married Mike Nichols on March 20, 2011. He survives at their home.
Crystal was employed at Casey’s in Boonville and Fayette for several years. She liked watching and collecting movie videos, fishing, baking (her specialty was banana bread), and playing Monopoly and Yahtzee.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband and longtime caregiver, Mike Nichols; her children, Angel Rodgers (Darrel) and David Bishop; and her grandchildren, Tiffany and Lowell Grandstaff. Crystal was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Shields, Jr.
Crystal will be inurned at a late date at the Fayette City Cemetery.
