The annual Easter Egg Hunt presented by the Lions Club of Fayette again drew scores of youngsters to the Fayette City Park on Saturday. Hundreds of colorful plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy and cash totaling $180 were scattered around the lawn of the old shelter house for children in five age groups from newborns through fifth-graders to fill their Easter baskets. Each group had between 15 and 20 children participate. After all eggs were collected, more than 200 prizes were handed out to participants.
The Lions Club has been hosting the Easter Egg Hunt annually for more than 25 years.
