Endless Options earns 8th straight CERF Accreditation

Posted

Endless Options in Fayette has earned its eighth consecutive accreditation from CARF International. The three-year accreditation was awarded in the areas of Employment Support and Job Development related to Community Employment Services, Community Integration, and Supported Living.

This marks the ninth time EO has earned the recognition. The accreditation now extends through December 31, 2023.

“We are excited to be able to say we meet national and international standards,” said Debra Miller, CEO of Endless Options.

This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be given to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards, Miller explained. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer-review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

Endless Options, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other barriers towards reaching their personal and employment goals through individualized services. It has been providing services in the Fayette area since 1982. EO has earned the accreditation from CARF nine times since 1998.

A letter from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) called the accreditation an indication of EO’s dedication to commitment and to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served. “Services, personnel, and documentation clearly indicate an established pattern of conformance to standards.”

CARF is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body whose mission is to promote the quality, value, and optimal outcomes of services through a consultative accreditation process and continuous improvement services that center on enhancing the lives of the persons served. Founded in 1966 as the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, and now known as CARF International, the accrediting body establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their programs and services.
