Enjoying the 2025 Missouri Boys State and Missouri Girls State are five Howard County delegates from Fayette. A total nine high school students from Howard County were selected, making it the county’s largest-ever delegation.
The annual week-long civic leadership programs was held June 21–28 at Lindenwood University in St. Charles. Students enjoy hands-on instruction in the fundamentals of state and local government. Students participate in mock elections, legislative sessions, and city planning, gaining experience in public service, leadership, and civic engagement.
