The Fayette Falcon Pride Marching Band has done it again. Fayette won every possible award at the Macon Marching Festival on Saturday, including the coveted Class 1-3 Sweepstakes trophy.
The band took first-place honors in the street, field, and drumline competitions, and won honors for outstanding field auxiliary, outstanding field music, outstanding field marching and maneuvering, and outstanding general effect.
“Thank you for everyone who came out to show your support and love for this band on a cold and rainy day,” said director Elizabeth Betts.
Fayette has now swept the field and street competitions in every event this season.
