For the second time this season, Fayette has a five-game winning streak after a 10-2 road win over Harrisburg on Monday.
Preslee Sunderland, Addison Newell and Megan Lewis started the game with consecutive singles to give Fayette a 2-0 lead, and the score remained 2-0 until the top of the fourth.
With two outs Abby Nation came through with an RBI single and Newell’s second single drove in two runs. Madi Lawson had a two-run double in the fifth.
Breanna Estes tripled and homered in her last two at bats.
Sunderland finished the game 4-5. Newell was 3-5 with a triple.
Bella Asbury had a single and a double. Lewis and Hannah Quint each had two hits as well.
Jordyn Ball gave up one earned run on three hits and two walk and struck out eight.
Halle Baden had an RBI hit for the Bulldogs. Olivia and Emma Fischer each had a hit for Harrisburg.
