The 1-5 Fayette Falcons traveled last Tuesday to Harrisburg to take on the 5-0 Bulldogs. The Falcons were not able to come out ahead, losing 76-59.
Down 40-30 at the half, Fayette was not able to muster much of a comeback in the third, but ended up winning the fourth quarter. That, however, was not enough as the Falcons still fell short.
“We know we have work to do, but I know some Falcons that are ready to put that work in,” said Fayette head coach Jon Bishop.
Senior Theo Owings garnered the second double-double of his career with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Classmate Dalton Collins dropped in 19 points and junior Ben Wells put in 10.
