Friends of the Historic Fayette Memorial Pool welcomed Santa and area visitors to their inaugural “Sparkle in the Park” on Saturday. The historic swimming pool, right, was decked inside and out for Christmas. Santa was available to hear Christmas wishes and his elves served treats. All around the city park area organizations set light displays to celebrate the holiday season. The sparkling park lights can be enjoyed each evening through the end of the year.
