Fayette Main Street, Inc., knows how important it is to help visitors find the businesses and services they need. That’s why the organization has launched a new mobile app that will guide users to local retail shops, service businesses, and restaurants.
The app is free for IOS and Android users and may be downloaded from Apple’s app store or at Google Play.
Fayette Main Street, Inc. partnered with distrix.com to develop an app-specific for Fayette.
“Reaching today’s mobile users is more important than ever,” said Mike Dimond, Executive Director of Fayette Main Street, Inc. “We are pleased to announce that we now have our own mobile app as part of a nationwide network for all Main Street districts. It’s a great way to let locals and visitors know all of the great things going on in our community. And best of all, it is part of a growing national network that includes all Main Street communities across the country.”
As more districts are added each month, mobile users throughout Missouri and across the nation will be able to see information about Fayette businesses and events, including detailed descriptions, photos, website links, and social media channels.
“Many of our local businesses have already joined this great network and we invite other businesses throughout town, in our Main Street district and outside the district, to join,” Dimond said.
Businesses wishing to be included should contact Main Street by email at fayettemomainstreet@gmail.com.
“The app also can list events taking place in Fayette and we invite your organization to send detailed information on your upcoming events to us so we can add them to the calendar of events,” explained Dimond.
Fayette Main Street, Inc., is affiliated with Missouri Main Street Connection and the National Main Street Center, and is a part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. It focuses on economic development with an emphasis on historic preservation, and works in partnership with the City of Fayette and local businesses.
