The Fayette City Pool will once again offer swimming lessons for children this summer, with classes running from July 7 through August 1.
Lessons will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays under the direction of pool manager Hayden Sage. The program is structured to meet the needs of swimmers at various skill levels, with three class options available. Level 1, for beginners, meets from 8 to 8:45 a.m. and is designed for children who are new to swimming or hesitant in the water. This class focuses on basic water skills and building confidence, with no prior experience required. Level 2, for intermediate swimmers, runs from 9 to 9:45 a.m. and for children who are comfortable in shallow water and ready to strengthen their existing skills without support. Level 3, the advanced group, meets from 10 to 10:45 a.m. and is geared toward children who can swim short distances independently and want to improve their technique and endurance.
The cost for the full session is $50 per child, and registration must be completed by July 4. For more information or to register, contact Ms. Sage at (660) 537-6690 or call Fayette City Hall at (660) 248-5246. See ad on Page 6.
