Fayette Reads Together meets Saturday

Posted

The next book discussion for Fayette Reads Together will be held at 11 a.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church located at 300 E. Davis Street in Fayette.

The discussion is hosted by Fayette Together Board Directors Rev. Susan McCollegan and Rev. Lue Lockridge-Lane.

The group will engage in living room conversations and discuss the book, Uncomfortable Conversations With a Black Man,” by Emmanuel Acho.

“Whether you’ve read the book or not, your voice matters, and there’s plenty to talk about as we work together to make Fayette a welcoming place for all,” said Rev. Lockridge-Lane.

The event is free and open to the community. Attendees are welcome to bring their lunches to enjoy during the discussion.
