The Fayette High School Marching Band continues to add to its already overflowing trophy case. The band won two first-place trophies, two second-place trophies, and took home an award for outstanding field auxiliary at the annual CMU Band Day on Saturday. The Falcons won both the street and field competitions, and earned the runner-up hardware in the Indoor Drumline and Indoor Color Guard contests.
Fayette opened the marching season at Carrollton on Saturday, September 25, when they swept the field and street competitions en route to winning the coveted Sweepstakes Trophy.
Fayette returns to competition for the Cameron Marchfest on Saturday before closing out the season at the Macon Marching Festival on October 23.
