Proceeds from the Pink Out event at Fayette High School totaled $2,350. The funds will be donated to Paul Beeler, a Fayette resident and businessman who is battling cancer.
The school held the event on Tuesday, December 13, in conjunction with high school basketball games between Fayette and Harrisburg. A chili supper preceded the games.
Fayette hosts the event annually in January or February, but held last week’s Pink Out early to benefit Mr. Beeler. A larger event will be held this winter. The date and other details will be announced soon.
