Food preservation workshops to be offered

Interested in preserving food at home? Then attend these hands-on learning opportunities to learn how to safely pickle food products at home or how to freeze foods, dry foods, and make delicious jams and jellies.  
The class on Pickling will be offered Saturday, Aug. 20, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. for a small cost of $15.  
The class on Freezing, Drying, and Jellies will be Saturday, Aug. 27 from 9:30 a.m.-12 p.m. also for only $15.

All classes will be located at the Megraw House in Fayette and provided to you by MU Extension – Howard County.
