Jerome and Sally Fuemmeler of Armstrong will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this July.
Jerome Fuemmeler and Sally Nanneman were married at St. Mary’s of the Angels Church in Wien, Missouri, on July 1, 1972.
They have worked together to raise not only crops and livestock, but also their family of eight children: Michelle (Dale) Heckemeyer, Tony Fuemmeler, Joe (Katie) Fuemmeler, Phillip (Gin) Fuemmeler, Lisa (Daniel) Ferguson, Claudia (Brian) Beckstrom, Carl Fuemmeler, and Veronica (Chris) Gares. The family has grown to include 18 grandchildren, with one on the way, and one great-grandchild. They include Xavier, Aerin, Sienna, Matthew, Heath, and Elliott Heckemeyer; Anya Fuemmeler; Samantha, Katie, Levi, and Emily Ferguson; Reagan, Kenzie, and Britain Beckstrom; Elena Fuemmeler; Lucia, Landry, and Daphne Gares; and Westley Smith.
On Sunday, July 3, Jerome and Sally will receive a special blessing at the 10 o’clock Mass in St. Mary’s Church in Glasgow. Please be a part of their celebration by sending them a card with your good wishes and prayers or by congratulating them when you see them in person.
