Henry “Egg” Mueller, 64, of Fayette, passed away at The Lodge in Fayette on March 1, 2022.

Henry was born in Fayette on March 29, 1957, a son of William “Don” Mueller and Betty Jean Moyer Mueller. He attended Fayette High School and served in the U.S. Army. Henry had previously been employed with Toastmaster and Nordyne in Boonville, American Recreation in Glasgow, and Central Methodist University in Fayette. 

He enjoyed outdoor activities including mushroom hunting, floating and fishing on the Missouri River, camping, hiking, metal detecting, and playing horse shoes. He especially liked listening to classic rock and roll music.

Survivors include a sister, Diana “Buffy” Mueller of Fayette, and two brothers, Michael Mueller and wife, Jing Jie Yu of Washington, D.C., and Gary “Zeke” Mueller and wife, Diane of Fayette. Also surviving are three nephews, Eli Mueller, Levi Mueller, and Jeremy Mueller; three nieces, Cassie Mueller, Ying Guo Zhang, and Yio Guo Dicus; a great-niece, Zoey Babboni; and two great-nephews, Bayne Mueller and Kevin Zhang. Also cherishing his memory are his caregivers and friends at The Lodge.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William “Pudge” Mueller.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at Carr-Yager Funeral Home in Fayette with Rev. Mike Jackman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Fayette. Following the burial, friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life at The Boondocks, 450 Hwy. 240, in Fayette.
