The Harrisburg boys handily took down Class 4 Centralia 68-41 at their own tournament on Thursday night. The Bulldogs will now face another Class 4 school, Fulton, at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Harrisburg trailed 10-7 after the opening eight minutes, but turned on the afterburners and outscored the Panthers 19-4 in the second quarter to lead 26-14 at halftime. The Bulldogs scored 26 points in the third quarter to take a commanding 52-24 lead before going on to win by 27.

The Bulldogs got a spark from the hot shooting of junior Anthony Alicea who was perfect on five-for-five shooting from the 3-point line. He finished with 17 points to lead four double-digit Harrisburg scorers. Senior Tanner Lanes, who was honored at halftime for surpassing 1,500 career points the previous week, add 11 points to his total against Centralia. Junior Brayden Ott also had 11 and senior Jace Carr banked 10.

Harrisburg is now 14-4 overall. They maintain a perfect 4-0 in Lewis & Clark conference play. Next week the Bulldogs return to regular season play in the final stretch before the Class 2 District 7 tournament which opens on February 21. Harrisburg kicks off a four-game home stretch on Wednesday against conference foe Paris.
