Howard County friends,
Please consider joining us for the annual membership meeting of Howard County Health and Wellness Council on Thursday October 6th at 7 pm at the Keller Memorial Building Conference Room.
We will be discussing goals for the coming year. We have served as an 501c3 umbrella for grants as individuals come to us with their ideas: the Fayette Splash Pad, and the ongoing effort to create a Universal Playground at the Fayette City Park. ThFaye vault toilet is now installed at Ricketts Lake and other trail improvements were made in recent years, much due to the efforts of individuals in this group.
Tony Cook built and maintains a beautiful butterfly garden at Ricketts Lake. We are hoping to find a coordinator for the Community Garden on Silvey Street for the 2023 growing season. Do you have an idea for a project in your community? Bring your ideas to the meeting.
The dues are $20 for individual, $30 for a family or $50 for organization and are set aside for Howard County community based projects. We meet quarterly and as needed. We’d love to see you in person, or you may send your dues to HCHWC Treasurer Bekki Galloway, 304 W Spring St., Fayette MO 65248.
We hope you can join us,
Marsha Broadus, President
Rebbecca Fenton,
Vice President
Cheryl Adams, Secretary
Bekki Galloway,
Treasurer
