Franklin, MO resident, Joyce Hull, 89, passed away peacefully at her home on July 5, 2021.

Barbara Joyce Hull was born October 21, 1931 in rural Howard County, MO, a daughter to the late Elliott and Opal Davis.  She graduated from Fayette High School with the class of 1949.  On September 1, 1956, Joyce married the love of her life, Joe Cuthbertson Hull in Fayette, MO.  Together, they enjoyed nearly 43 years of marriage until Joe’s passing on June 6, 1999.  Joyce worked as a teller for Commercial Trust Company for numerous years.  She also worked as a substitute rural mail carrier for several years.  Joyce loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Joyce was an avid New Franklin Bulldogs fan.  She really enjoyed following and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.  Joyce was a devout and longtime member of Boonesboro Christian Church.  

Survivors include her four children, Jim (Kim) Hull of New Franklin, MO, Janna (Mike) Ridge, Jill (Greg) Monnig and Jay (Julie) Hull, all of Franklin, MO; eight grandchildren, Caitlin (Adam) Carr, Michelle (Logan) Grace, Claire (Trevor) Barbour, Joe Monnig, and Tyler, Jake, Caleb and Cooper Hull; and three great-grandchildren, Addie, Kenzie and Lily.  In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by an infant son, Jeff, a brother, Bill Davis and a sister, Lavece Fisher.

A funeral service honoring the life of Joyce Hull will be 10 AM, Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Boonesboro Christian Church in Franklin, MO, with Rev. Ross Mutrux officiating.  Visitation will be held 5-7 PM, Friday, July 9, 2021 at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette, MO.  Interment will follow the service at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in New Franklin, MO.
