Kevin Wayne Fizer, 62, of New Franklin, passed away at his home on May 23, 2021.
Kevin was born in Iowa City, Iowa on July 3, 1958, a son of Robert Thomas and Rita Ford Fizer. He married Patty Harmon on August 1, 1977, in Boonville. Kevin was owner and operator of KF Cleaning and had also been employed in maintenance and custodial department with Cooper County Memorial Hospital and the City of Boonville. He enjoyed small engine repair and liked keeping busy. Kevin especially enjoyed visiting with those he worked for and his friends in the local community.
Survivors include his wife, Patty, of the home; two sons, Mel Fizer of New Franklin, and Nick Fizer and wife, Elizabeth, of Columbia; a brother, Bobby Joe Fizer, and wife, Helga of Orlando, Florida; a sister, Judy Meyer and husband, Mike of Rolla, Missouri; and Angie Shannon who was like a daughter to Kevin – she was like his baby girl.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Danny Volden and Everett Fizer; and a sister, Linda Greene.
No services are scheduled at this time, however memorial contributions are suggested to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in care of Markland-Yager Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, New Franklin, MO 65274.
