The inaugural Kids Market in downtown Fayette on Saturday was a success. Presented by Fayette Main Street, Inc., the event gave young entrepreneurs from all over Howard County the opportunity to put their wares in front of customers. More than a dozen booths on the west side of Fayette’s downtown courthouse square sold everything from homemade chocolates and jams, to artwork, magnets, plants and lemonade.
Members of the community flocked downtown in support of the market.
The Kids Market is expected to grow throughout the summer and will return to downtown the first and second Saturdays of June, July, and August, from 9 to 11 a.m.
