The first-ever Kids Market in Fayette is set to open up shop on Saturday. Young entrepreneurs from around Howard County will be on the courthouse square from 9 to 11 a.m. to sell a multitude of items such as fruits, jams, baked goods, lemonade, crafts, jewelry, popcorn, and more.
Around a dozen families are registered for Saturday’s inaugural event.
Presented by Fayette Main Street, Inc., the Kids Market will run the first and second Saturdays of June, July, and August.
An advertisement for the event appears on Page 4 of this newspaper.
