Glasgow 46, Slater 32
The Lady Jackets did not allow double digit points in any quarter and heated up offensively during the second half of a 46-32 win at Slater on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Hadley Sanders scored 12 of her 20 points in the fourth quarter as Glasgow ran away with its second straight conference road win.
Malia Carmack scored five points in the first quarter as the Lady Jackets took a 10-9 lead. She finished with 11.
The game was tied 17-17 at the half
Miranda Cooper had a 3-point play in the third quarter as Glasgow built a 30-24 lead.
Brenna Hubbard scored in each quarter and finished with 11.
Slater 52, Glasgow 49
Drew Sanders scored 21 points as Glasgow nearly matched Slater point-for-point in a 52-49 road loss on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
It was just the second home game for the Wildcats. The first was a 91-25 win over Community, but the second was a battle.
Slater led 13-12 after a quarter and 21-20 at the half.
Sanders went 8-13 from the floor and 4-9 from the 3-point line. He also had five rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Deshonne Cowans had eight points and seven rebounds. Noah Boss made two of his three field goal attempts for five points and seven rebounds. Trevor Sanders also had five points while Carson Frevert and Jaquan Cowans each added four.
Slater has averaged 69 points per game during the current season while allowing 39. The Wildcats escaped with the win, improving to 13-1 while Glasgow fell to 6-7.
