Linn Memorial United Methodist Church will present the second season of “The Chosen” beginning on Saturday, February 12 from 10 until 11:30 a.m., and continuing for eight Saturdays. The showing of each episode will be followed by group discussion.
The Chosen is a multi-season series that portrays Jesus through the eyes of those who met him. The show is the top crowd-funded film project of all time and to date has been viewed more than 300 million times. The first season has been translated into 50 languages.
The show’s success is attributed to engaging storytelling while staying true to the message of the gospels and the culture of the era.
