Linn Memorial United Methodist Church on the campus of Central Methodist University in Fayette will host a special children’s event on Sunday, December 18. Christmas for Kids will run from 2 until 4 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Children will have the opportunity to make old-fashioned salt dough ornaments to take home or decorate trees in the sanctuary.
A special Story Time will be presented regarding the symbols of Christmas. Hot cocoa, candy canes, and baked goods will be provided.
And no Christmas event would be complete without Santa Claus. The man in red will be there to hear Christmas wishes.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. An advertisement for the event appears on Page 2 of this newspaper.
