The following local students graduated or were recognized for academic achievement at colleges and universities following the spring 2012 semester:
  • Aimee Nicole Sage, of Fayette, earned a master of education degree from Central Methodist University.
  • Hilary Jean Myers, of Fayette, earned a master of education degree from Central Methodist University.
  • Breanna Kivett, of New Franklin, was named to the dean’s list at Central Methodist University.
  • Courtney Michelle Wilmsmeyer, of Franklin, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting (magna cum laude) from William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo.
  • Timothy Noble, of Rocheport, was named to the dean’s list at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. Timothy is a senior majoring in international business.
  • Jamie Ann Fitzgerald, of Salisbury, earned a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering (cum laude) at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla.
  • Nevan Christopher Himmelberg, of Glasgow, earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering (summa cum laude) at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla.
  • Jordan Craig Kendrick, of Salisbury, sophomore in mechanical engineering, named to honor’s list at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla.
  • Jordan Michael Verslues, of Rocheport, sophomore in mining engineering, named to honor’s list at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla.
