A Holt’s Summit man was seriously injured after he was thrown from his motorcycle Friday morning in rural Howard County. Randall K. Johnson, 58, was riding his 2020 Harley Davidson Road King at the junction of State Route FF and County Road 229 shortly after 10 a.m., according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The report said Johnson entered the gravel intersection and the motorcycle overturned. Johnson was ejected and, according to a report, likely suffered a broken leg. He was transported by Howard County ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
Johnson was wearing a helmet, according to the patrol. The bike sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
