After defeating Fayette by one point in the quarterfinal game last week, the Marceline Tigers hosted Hayti on Saturday. In another thriller, Marceline came away with another one-point win. Over the last three games, Marceline has outscored it’s opponents by a total of only eight points.
With the win, the Tigers (12-1) will now travel to Columbia’s Faurot Field for the state final on Saturday December 4, to take on the East Buchanan Bulldogs at 3 p.m. The Bulldogs are coming off a 34-6 win over Thayer.
