Fayette, Mo. resident, Mary Widner, 64, passed away at her home on March 11, 2020.
Mary E. Widner was born on December 27, 1955 in Fayette, Mo., a daughter to the late Paul and Emma (Rains) Cleek, Sr. She graduated from Fayette High School. On October 22, 1988, Mary married Roy Widner. Together, they have enjoyed over 31 years of marriage. When she was able, Mary worked for the local McDonald’s and Taylor Food Mart. She will be deeply missed by her close family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Widner, of Fayette, Mo.; son, Quinton (Becky) Ewings of Boonville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; six siblings, Paul Jr. and wife Judy, Becky, Sally, Rosie, Tony, and Chris, all of Fayette, Mo. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her son, Clinton Blaine Ewings, two granddaughters, Kuristen Ewings and Ariel Montague, and a sister, Margaret.
Visitation for Mrs. Widner will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Friemonth-Freese Funeral Home in Fayette. A private family service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2020 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, with Rev. Harold Young officiating. Interment will follow the service.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Family’s Choice, in care of Friemonth-Freese Funeral Service, 174 Hwy. 5 & 240 N., Fayette, Mo. 65248.
