Abby Maupin homered twice as New Franklin defeated Higbee 17-2 on Thursday night.
Carly Dorson was 2-2 at the plate with three RBI. Sophia Held was 2-2 and drove in two runs.
Jayna Matthews was 2-3 and had two RBI as well. Alexia Sprick also had two hits.
Ten of the Lady Bulldogs' 17 hits went for extra bases.
New Franklin scored six runs in the first inning and led 15-0 after two.
Kaylen Sprick, Isabelle Matney, Kayce Hundley, Kelsi Fair, Addy Salmon, Heaven-Lee Hundley and Dakota Clark each had a hit for New Franklin in the four-inning win.
Emma Johnson, Macey Whisenand, and Addie White each had a hit for Higbee. Alie Mitchell was 2-2 with an RBI.
