Maxwell Thomas Springer, 17, of Fayette, Missouri, died Sunday, December 11, 2022 from injuries of a fire at his grandmother’s home. 

Maxwell was born November 21, 2005, the son of Jamie and Leah (Keller) Springer.

Maxwell was a junior at Fayette R-III school district. He participated in FFA and the Special Olympics. He loved hanging out at Endless Options in Fayette and working at The Attic. He loved shopping, garage sales where he would buy items to make other people happy. Max loved going to Starbucks to get coffee. He loved his dogs Pixie and Ollie.

Maxwell is survived by his parents, paternal grandfather, Jerry Springer, Sr. of Salisbury, Missouri, maternal grandfather, John Keller of Cairo, Missouri, maternal grandmother ,Vicki Keller of Moberly, maternal grandfather, Kenny (Bobbie) Hummel of Moberly, Missouri, uncle Jerry (Evelyn) Springer, Zane Keller, Kyle Hummel, Cory (Jeannie) Hummel, cousins Alissa Springer, Austin ( Mary) Springer, Lane (Morgan) Springer, Makenna Hummel, Zaylee Heaton, Graycie Clark, Preston Clark, Kollins Clark, Riley Springer, Sawyer Springer and Landon Springer.   

Maternal grandmother, Cheryl also died of her injuries on December 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Samuel Franklin Springer.

Visitation is Friday, December 16 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with services following at 1:00 p.m. at the Summerville Funeral Home in Salisbury, Missouri. Burial in Prairie Hill Cemetery in Prairie Hill, Missouri.
