New Howard County employees Raymond Kopp and Sheila Wallace, R.N., were introduced Tuesday morning at the monthly staff meeting of county employees.

Wallace is the new county health administrator. She replaces Sheri Williams who left to take a state health position. A former employee of the Cooper County Public Health Office and Cooper County Memorial Hospital, Wallace will supervise a staff of more than a half-dozen persons in the local public health office based in the Keller Building. She and her husband, David, have lived in Howard County more than 21 years.

Kopp, a native of the county, is the new Keller Building manager. He previously worked for Orscheln Industries in Moberly and for Shiflett Construction. Kopp replaces Ted Williams who has taken a post as transportation director of the Fayette school district.
